Group Facilitation

I found it shocking to be part of a research experiment that shows that when the output of a group was compared to the output of individuals doing the same task, the highest score consistently came from an individual. In other words the research shows that 1 + 1 does not always equal 2. Something seems to happen in the group dynamic which prevents us from getting the best from people in group settings.

Why is it worth getting groups to work better together?

In short, the potential of what we can achieve together is far greater than what we can achieve alone.

I facilitate groups at meetings and away days to help make better use of time by putting the results of research into practice and help them to achieve more effective outcomes.
